BCCI recommends Dravid for Khel Ratna; Yuvraj, Anjum for Arjuna

Mumbai, June 1 (UNI) The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has recommended the name of Indian skipper Rahul Dravid for the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award.

Confirming this to UNI, BCCI Chief Administration Officer Ratnakar Shetty said the names of Yuvraj Singh and former captain of Indian women's cricket team Anjum Chopra have been recommended for the Arjuna awards.

Pugilist M C Mary Kom and tennis star Mahesh Bhupathi was also the fray for the coveted Khel Ratna.
