The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday released a video showcasing Nepal's men's cricket team undergoing an intensive two-week training camp at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.
The camp, aimed at sharpening skills ahead of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Qualifiers in October, marks another step in the cricketing cooperation between India and Nepal.

Initially reported to be held from August 20 to September 4, the training programme instead ran early over a focused two-week period, with the Nepal squad making "full use of the facilities" to prepare for the challenges ahead. Sharing the highlights on social media, BCCI said:
"As part of their preparation for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Qualifiers, the Nepal national team trained at the BCCI Centre of Excellence over a focused two-week camp. Making full use of the facilities, the team worked across skill, fitness, and game scenarios to gear up for the challenges ahead."
The camp was supported by the Indian government as part of efforts to "connect the youth of the two countries" through cricket. "Cricket cooperation has added a new dimension to the deep rooted and age-old historical ties between India and Nepal, connecting the youth of the two countries through a shared passion for cricket," an Indian government official had earlier stated.
India's support for Nepal cricket has grown steadily in recent years. The Nepal men's team also trained at the Centre of Excellence in August last year and participated in domestic practice tournaments in India. The Indian government has further facilitated youth development initiatives, including training camps for Nepal's women's and U-19 players.
The ICC Men's T20 World Cup Qualifiers are set for October, with the tournament proper to be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
