England cricket team captain Ben Stokes' bag was stolen in London on Sunday (March 12). The England player was left fuming after the incident.
The mishap happened at the King's Cross Station in London where thieves stole Stokes' bags and the player was nothing but angry after being stolen.
It's unclear why Stokes was travelling via public transport but reports say Stokes was travelling from his home in Cumbria to watch England's rugby match against France in the Six Nations tournament.
The player made an angry post on Twitter with a stern message to the thief after his bag was stolen.
"To who ever stole my bag at King's Cross train station. I hope my clothes are to big for you ya absolute ******"," he tweeted.
Stokes was pivotal for the English team in the New Zealand Test series and became the record six-hitter in Tests after surpassing Brendon McCullum. The English all-rounder will be travelling to India in the next few days to take part in the IPL.
Four-time Champions Chennai Super Kings bought him in the auction for INR 16.25 crore. Stokes, who has previously played in the IPL for Rajasthan Royals, will be aiming to help CSK do better than their disappointing last season.
England have done exceedingly well under Ben Stokes in the Test format recently. They won the South Africa series 2-1, followed by a clean sweep of Pakistan where they won 3-0 in Pakistan. They were on the verge of winning the series against New Zealand but lost the final Test by 1 run to be pegged back to a 1-1 stalemate.
