The Bengal Pro T20 League is going to kickstart a new dawn of Bengal cricket. The inaugural season of the franchise tournament starts on June 11 as eight teams fight out for the glory.
Adamas Howrah Warriors is one of the franchises, which will represent the district of Howrah in the tournament. Howrah, if you don't know, is the sister city of Kolkata and is situated on the West Bank of River Hooghly in West Bengal.

Veteran Bengal player Anustup Majumder has been roped in as the men's team captain, while Dhara Gujjar will be captaining the women's team.
Apart from Anustup, Howrah Warriors have also picked up Shakir Habib Gandhi, Aamir Gani, Kanishk Seth, who have experience of playing for Bengal in the domestic tournaments.
Majumder, who is one of the stalwarts of Bengal cricket, will be aiming to showcase his leadership prowess in the tournament. Dhara Gujjar is tipped to be one of the future stars of Indian women's cricket and she will be leading the women's team with the likes of Bidisha Dey, Koyel Mondal, Riya Kohli as other notable names in the squad.
The men's team has appointed former Bengal player Subhomoy Das as the coach. The veteran of Bengal cricket has a host of experience and will be hoping to hone his skills in this big stage.
