In a thrilling Final at the Eden Gardens, Lux Shyam Kolkata Tigers prevailed over the Murshidabad Kueens by 5 runs to lift the inaugural women's title of the Bengal Pro T20 League.
Kolkata Tigers batted first and scored 110 for 5 in their 20 overs on a haze afternoon at the Eden Gardens.

Captain Mita Paul scored 24 runs but the main batting knock came from Ipsita Mondal who scored 37 runs off 32 deliveries. Bipasa Ghosh and Mamata Kisu's late flurry took them beyond the century mark. Priyanka Sarkar picked up two wickets for the Murshidabad Kueens.
In the run chase, the Kueens had an early blow as Sneha Gupta departed cheaply. Ritika Paul and Sandipta Patra provided a decent partnership but after Rittika's wicket, Kolkata Tigers got a few blows which put the Kueens on the back foot. Sandipta also departed for 45 runs which tilted the match in Kolkata's favour.
Priyanka Sarkar was the key for the Kueens and scored quick runs to put Murshidabad back in the hunt. With 13 runs required in the last over, Mamata Kisku got the wicket of Adrija in the first ball. With five runs coming in the next two balls, Priyanka had the onus to take Murshidabad over the line. But Kisku kept her cool and got the prized wicket of Priyanka in the penultimate delivery as Kolkata won the match by 5 runs.
