Murshidabad, the royal part of Bengal, will have its robust representation in the inaugural season of the Bengal Pro T20 League, which starts on June 11.

Co-owned by Pritam Electricals and Jalan Builders, the Murshidabad franchise will represent the Murshidabad and the Nadia districts in this tournament. The men's team is named Murshidabad Kings, while the women's team will be known as Murshidabad Kueens.

Murshidabad Kings & Murshidabad Kueens - The Captains, Team, Coach

Promising Bengal batter Sudip Kumar Gharami has been appointed as the marquee player for men's team and is going to captain the side. On the other hand, India women's team all-rounder Deepti Sharma will captain the women's team.

Apart from Sudip, the team is bolstered with the likes of Agniv Pan, young pacer Ravi Kumar in the side. Former Bengal pacer Sourav Sarkar has been appointed as the men's team head coach.

Deepti Sharma, one of the most accomplished all-rounder of women's cricket, will have the likes of Priyanka Sarkar, Monami Patra, and Sneha Gupta alongside her in the women's team as well.

All of the men's team matches will be played at the Eden Gardens, whereas the women's teams will be playing their matches as the Jadavpur University Ground in Salt Lake.
