The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) announced the 25-men provisional Bengal squad for the upcoming Inter State Sr. Men T20 Warm-Up matches.
The eight-team tournament will start in Puducheery from August 19 and the Bengal squad for the upcoming Mushtaq Ali Trophy will be decided on the basis of performances in this tournament.

Bengal won the T20 domestic trophy back in 2011, but since then, they have never won it. In an attempt to overturn their dismal record in Mushtaq Ali Trophy, CAB is leaving no stones unturned and the players will play the upcoming tournament in Puducherry as a part of their preparation.

Both Mukesh and Shahbaz will be representing India for the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou. The pair will also be on national duty during the tournament as they are part of the India squad for the Ireland T20I series.
