The Bengal senior team has started their pre-season camp ahead of the domestic competitions.
With a plethora of tournaments on the agenda, the Bengal team has started their practice far away from Kolkata, at the MGR Sports Residential camp in Dubarjpur, a place in the Birbhum district of West Bengal.

After a near-success past few seasons, the upbeat Bengal team is looking for glory in the upcoming one and CAB has high expectations on the players.
Wriddhiman Saha, who returned to Bengal after a two-year hiatus, is also among the players training at Dubrajpur. The likes of Anustup Majumder, Abhimanyu Easwaran are also among the players.
The main objective for Bengal this season is to fight for glory across formats in the domestic season and it is to be seen how they equip themselves for the big test. With Saha back in the mix, coach Laxmi Ratan Shukla and his staff have optimism ahead of the upcoming season.
Two of Bengal's pacestars Mukesh Kumar and Akash Deep will be part of the Duleep Trophy this year, while Easwaran is set to captain the B team in the tournament as well.
The training sessions started on Thursday with a minute's silence for the heinous rape and murder which took place in Kolkata a few days ago.
"We began by praying for her soul," Bengal coach Shukla was quoted as saying by CAB.
