Bengal T20 League: Mukesh Kumar says Mental Fatigue has No Place, Wants to Win Title for Team
Ahead of the 3rd season of the Bengal T20 League, India pacer Mukesh Kumar is buoyant and looking forward to the competition.
The season starts from Friday (June 5) as the eight-team tournament will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Mukesh Kumar captains Sobisco Smashers Malda, and ahead of the season, the Indian bowler is focused in the upcoming assignment.

At the pre-tournament press conference on Thursday at the Media Centre of Eden Gardens, Mukesh depicted his sole focus for the season.
"I have not set any benchmark. The main focus is to perform well and take the team forward. The target is to win the cup for my franchise," Mukesh said while answering MyKhel's question.
The Bengal pacer recently played in the IPL 2026 for Delhi Capitals, which was not fruitful for him. Mukesh played the majority of the matches but could only pick 6 wickets across the season, as DC exited from the group stages. Apart from that, he also emphasized the importance of a tournament such as Bengal T20 League.
"I give a lot of value to this platform as it's a huge exposure for any club cricket player. This is a platform to be picked for IPL, and if you do well in the IPL for a couple of years, the India door opens. So, I think it is massive," he added.
The season continues for Mukesh as the BTL now starts after a couple of months in the IPL. When asked about mental fatigue, Mukesh says, "Aadat Ho Gaya Hain, Time Nahi Hain (I have become used to it, no time for that)."
