After the deadly celebrations in Bengaluru which took lives of 11 people, the Bengaluru police has made three arrests, facilitated after the instruction of the Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
The nation witnessed a celebration turning into tragedy as RCB's victory celebration and parade created a huge crowd interest. Overcrowding at the Chinnaswamy Stadium resulted into a stampede which took lives.

On Friday (June 6) morning, the Bengaluru Police arrested Nikhil Sosale, Kiran Kumar, and Sunil Mathew in connection with the tragic stampede that claimed 11 lives outside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium during Royal Challengers Bengaluru's IPL victory celebrations on June 4. The arrests were made following direct orders from Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
Nikhil Sosale serves as the Head of Marketing and Revenue at Royal Challengers Bengaluru. Kiran Kumar and Sunil Mathew are associated with DNA Entertainment Network, holding the positions of Senior Event Manager and Vice President - Business Affairs, respectively.
The Chief Minister had, a day earlier, instructed law enforcement to take action against officials from Royal Challengers Bengaluru, DNA Entertainment Network, and the Karnataka State Cricket Association. He also ordered the immediate suspension of several senior police personnel, including Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda, Additional Commissioner (West) Vikash Kumar Vikash, and DCP (Central) Shekhar H Tekkannavar, along with multiple officers from the Cubbon Park Police Station.
"At around 3.35 pm, the crowd waiting outside Gate Number 20 of the Chinnaswamy Stadium for over an hour was very restless. When the gate was opened slightly to check the online tickets for the RCB celebration, the crowd pushed through. There were only three policemen and a few stadium security guards," an eyewitness named Hussain was quoted as saying by Indian Express.
Hussain was one of the people who helped retrieve a few injured people and took them to the hospital. The 11 deceased were all under the age of 30 and many teenagers also succumbed, whose dream of watching RCB turned to an agonizing death.
