Wanindu Hasaranga on Monday (June 19) entered the top 10 for best bowling figures for Sri Lanka in ODIs following 6-wicket haul in ICC ODI World Cup 2023 Qualifier vitory over UAE at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.
After Sri Lanka rode on fifties from the top four batters to set a target of 356, the leg-spinner Hasaranga worked his magic to seal a huge 175-run win in their ICC World Cup 2023 Qualifier Group B opener.

The brilliance of Hasaranga was on full show as he picked up three wickets in the space of two overs, removing Muhammad Waseem (39), Basil Hameed (0) and Asif Khan (8) to put Sri Lanka in complete control.

In the third delivery of the 19th over, Hasaranga once again trapped a batter for LBW and this time it was Asif, who was unable to read the spinner like most of his teammates.
