B'lore Test will be my last in my home city: Kumble

By Staff

Bangalore, Oct 8 (UNI) The first test between India and Australia to begin here tomorrow will be the last on home ground for skipper and ace leg spinner Anil Kumble.

''I don't know when next test match will be played here. But as far as I am concerned, this will be my last Test in Bangalore,'' he told reporters on the eve of the four-Test series. Kumble, however, did not mention when he planned to retire.

Enraged over repeated questions from the scribes about his retirement, Kumble retorted ''don't go on asking the same question.

I will announce when the time comes. I will let you know and let us stop the matter at this.'' Former skipper Sourav Ganguly announced yesterday that he would be quitting the international arena after the series which begins tomorrow.
