Board President's XI will Australia at MA Chidambaram stadium

Bengaluru, September 7: The Board of Control for Cricket India on Thursday (September 7) announced squad to face Australia in a practice game ahead of the one-day series.

The match will be played at the MA Chidambaram stadium, Chennai, on September 12.

The captain of the team has not been announced but Gurkeerat Mann, the most experienced player in the squad, may lead the side.

Former India and Tamil Nadu player Hemang Badani will coach the side.

Australia will play five one-day internationals and three T20s on a short tour.

The squad: Rahul Tripathi, Mayank Agarwal, Shivam Chaudhary, Nitish Rana, Govind Poddar, Gurkeerat Mann, Shreevats Goswami, Akshay Karnewar, Kulwan Khejroliya, Krushang Patel, Avesh Khan, Sandeep Sharma, Washington Sundar, Rahil Shah. Coach: Hemang Badani.
