'Boom Boom is back': Jasprit Bumrah seen bowling full-throttle in nets ahead of Asia Cup and World Cup 2023

In a good news to the fans of the Indian cricket team, star pacer Jasprit Bumrah is very well on course for an India comeback. A video has gone viral in which the star pacer can be seen bowling full-throttle.

In the video which has been shot from quite a distance, the pacer who last played a match in September 2022, can be seen running briskly before delivering the ball without any problem whatsoever.

The 29-year-old underwent a back surgery in March this year after two unsuccessful attempts to make an India comeback. He has spent a considerable amount of time at the NCA in Bengaluru thereafter.

India have missed the services of the star pacer in the Asia Cup 2022, T20 World Cup 2022, Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 and the WTC Final 2023. With the Asia Cup 2023 and World Cup 2023 scheduled to be played within the next four months, Bumrah returning to the India squad is very crucial. Notably, India are also dealing with the injuries of KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant.

The absence of Bumrah has created a major void in the bowling department. His comeback is only going to bolster India's chances of ending their ICC title drought. The World Cup 2023 is scheduled to be played in India from October 5 and Bumrah's presence will give the pace attack a major boost. Bumrah also solves India's death bowling issues.
