Comilla Victorians vs Fortune Barishal Preview
Comilla Victorians put up a clinical display against Rangpur Riders in Qualifier 1 and deservedly won the game by 6 wickets. With that special win, they became the first team to book their berth in the finals.
On the other hand, Fortune Barishal had their task cut out en route to reaching the final. They knocked Chattogram Challengers out of the competition in the Eliminator before defeating Rangpur Riders in Qualifier 2.
Comilla Victorians finished second on the league stage points table under the captaincy of Litton Das whereas Tamim Iqbal-led Fortune Barishal finished third on the points table.
Both teams have locked horns with each other twice in the league stage. While Comilla Victorians won the first leg by 4 wickets, Fortune Barishal won the second meeting as they won by six wickets.
It remains to be seen which team will use their tools and ingredients to better effect in the showdown with a view to getting hold of the title. Both teams have top players at their disposal who are capable of inflicting damage.
Mustafizur Rahman who sustained a head injury on February 18 is more likely to be back in action for the showdown. Even the skipper Litton Das is confident that the left-arm paceman will turn up for the final battle.
