Comilla Victorians led by Litton Das will play against Tamim Iqbal-led Fortune Barishal in the BPL 2024 final. Two best teams are expected to go toe-to-toe with each other in the highly-anticipated showdown on March 1 in Dhaka.

This is a high-stakes situation for both teams as any mistake might open the door for significant negative consequences in the most-important game and hence the margin for error will be slim.

1. Litton Das

Comilla Victorians captain comes into the final as the fourth leading run-scorer of this season with 375 runs in 13 games at a strike rate of 130.66 including three half-centuries. The 29-year-old is one of the players to watch out for in the upcoming clash as he is expected to tick the boxes as a three-dimensional material where he will be expecting to fire the cylinders in batting, captaincy and wicketkeeping respectively.

2. Tamim Iqbal

Fortune Barishal immensely benefitted from the batting services of Tamim Iqbal in the BPL 2024 tournament. It is worth noting that the 34-year-old is the leading run-scorer of this season as he has mustered 453 runs in 14 appearances. Overall, he has smacked three fifties in this edition and as usual, he will be looking to dominate the proceedings. The left-handed attacking batter scored 52*, 66 and 33 in his last three games. Apart from that, he has also been a terrific captain as he steered the team into the finals.

3. Andre Russell

Andre Russell who has a truckload of T20 experience under his belt is expected to make a telling impact in the upcoming showdown against Fortune Barishal. The Caribbean can change the complexion of the game with his fearless brand of cricket. Besides that, he is pretty good at taking crucial wickets and he got rid of Shakib Al Hasan and Nurul Hasan in Qualifier 1 clash. Notably, the Comilla Victorians' all-rounder outsmarted Fortune Barishal captain Tamim Iqbal in the previous meeting.

4. Mushfiqur Rahim

Fortune Barishal's wicketkeeper-batsman Mushfiqur Rahim was adjudged the Man of the Match for his unbeaten 47 off 38 against Rangpur Riders in the Qualifier 2 clash. He held his nerves in the run-chase and guided the team to a six-wicket win. The veteran is also the fifth-leading run-scorer in BPL 2024 and has hit three fifties so far and is certainly one of the players who can make a significant impact for Fortune Barishal.
