The tenth season of the Bangladesh Premier League - BPL 2024 is all set to start with defending champions Comilla Victorians taking on the Durdanto Dhaka at the Shere-E-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka on Friday (January 19).
BPL 2024 will see 7 teams battle in double round-robin format in the league phase with the top four on the points table after the league stage heading into the playoffs - Eliminator, Qualifier 1, Qualifier 2 and then the final.

The third placed team and fourth ranked team meet in the Eliminator with the winner entering the Qualifier 2, where they will meet the loser of Qualifier 1 that will be played between the table topper and second placed teams. The Qualifier 1 winner earns a direct entry into the final where they will face the winner of Qualifier 2.
The 46-match tournament will be held across three venues in phased manner with Dhaka playing hosts in the first, third and fifth phase, while Chattogram and Sylhet will host the remaining two phases.

The BPL 2024 starts on January 19 with the league stage and ends a month later with the final on March 1. A total of 46 matches, including the playoffs, will be played across 3 venues this season.
The matches will be held mostly as a double-header format with only the final two days staging single matches in a day. There will be four different start times for matches in BPL season 10.
The first match on double header day starts at 2 PM or 1:30 PM Local Time, 1:30 PM or 1 PM IST, 12:30 PM or 1 PM PKT. The second match follows the standard start time of the single match days - 6:30 PM or 7 PM Local Time, 6 PM or 6:30 IST, 5:30 PM or 6 PM PKT.
In India, no TV channel will broadcast the BPL season 10 matches, but fans can enjoy the action by using live streaming option for all the matches of the Bangladesh Premier League.
