Bangladesh Premier League season 11 - BPL 2024/25 is getting close to climax stage as the seven teams look to book their spots in the BPL playoffs, which is scheduled to be held from February 3 to 7.
Like previous seasons, the top four will progress to the playoffs and will play respective fixtures based on where they finish in the BPL points table. Four matches will be played in the playoff stages - Eliminator, Qualifier 1, Qualifier 2 and then the all important final.
The first and second placed teams will play the Qualifier 1 which gives them a second shot at making the final even if they lose as they will play the winner of the Eliminator in Qualifier 2. The Eliminator will feature the third and fourth placed teams.
Which four teams qualified for the BPL 2025 Playoffs?
Rangpur Riders, Fortune Barishal, Chittagong and Khulna Tigers have confirmed their place in the playoffs. The Rangpur Riders were the first team to book their playoff berth, while Barishal booked their spot on January 26, the Kings sealed their spot on January 30 and Tigers booked their slot on February 1.
The remaining three teams – Durbar Rajshahi, Dhaka Capitals and Sylhet Strikers are out of the race for a top four finish as the three teams finished in the bottom three spots in the BPL standings. Here is a look at the BPL Points Table on February 1:
