The Ekana Cricket Stadium Stadium, established in 2017 as the fifth largest cricket stadium in India, will play host to at least seven games during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, starting from Tuesday (April 1).
The venue, also known as Ekana Cricket Stadium, was renamed in 2018 renamed in honour of India's 10th Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee as Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee (BRSABV) Ekana Stadium.

The Lucknow venue has served as home venues to the Uttar Pradesh state teams, the Indian cricket teams, the Afghanistan national team, and since 2023 as a home to IPL side Lucknow Super Giants and 2025 as home venue for Women’s Premier League team UP Warriorz.
In IPL 2025, the Ekana will first host LSG’s home match against Punjab Kings before games against Mumbai Indians, Gujarat Titans, Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals in April.
