CA to pay special tribute to McGrath
Sydney, May 2 (UNI) Cricket Australia will pay a special tribute to bowling legend Glenn McGrath in recognition of the yeoman service he has rendered to Australian and world cricket.
The tribute will be as part of a public reception to World Cup-winning team and its coach John Buchanan here tomorrow.
Members of the record-breaking side will be presented to the public at 12 pm by New South Wales Premier Morris Iemma at the Martin Place Amphitheatre between Pitt and Castlereagh Streets.
The reception will run for approximately 45 minutes and will feature interviews with captain Ricky Ponting and Buchanan, besides the special video tribute to McGrath at his last official function as an Australian player.
