CAB's new body election on July 29, Dalmiya to contest

Kolkata, Jul 8 (UNI) Cricket Association of Bengal's (CAB) election to the new executive body will be held on July 29.

This was decided at CAB's last working committee meeting held here this evening.

The election to CAB has assumed importance as former president Jagmohan Dalmiya has decided to contest for the president's post.

Last year he opted out from the contest as Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee wanted former Kolkata Police Commissoner Prasun Kumar Mukherjee at the helm of the Bengal cricket body.
