Rohit Sharma's T20 World Cup 2024 spot was questioned by fans after being dismissed for eight off eight balls against Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Saturday, April 27.

The Indian squad for the T20 World Cup 2024 is expected to be announced soon and fans have expressed concerns over the form of Rohit. Notably, BCCI secretary Jay Shah has already announced that Rohit Sharma would lead the Men in Blue at the ICC showpiece event.
Talking about the match, Delhi Capitals posted 257/4 after 27-ball 84 by opener Jake Fraser-McGurk. Shai Hope (41 off 17) and Tristan Stubbs (48* off 25) also chipped in with handy contributions.
In reply, Mumbai Indians gave it their but fell 10 runs short of the target. Tilak Varma top-scored for the side with 63 off 32, and there were also notable contributions from Hardik Pandya (46 off 24), and Tim David (37 off 17). Delhi pacers Mukesh Kumar and Rasikh Dar Salam picked three wickets apiece.
