Karnataka's film star Kichcha Sudeep thanked their fans after the CCL 2025 exit following the semifinal defeat on Saturday (March 2).
Over the past two years, the perception has grown that Kichcha Sudeep was more engrossed in his cricket engagements, such as participating in the Celebrity Cricket League or the Karnataka Chalanachitra Cup, and hosting the Bigg Boss Kannada, rather than focusing on his film career.

Sudeep's recent activities reinforced this commitment to cinema. Following a busy period leading the Karnataka Bulldozers in the Celebrity Cricket League's 2025 season, Sudeep's team concluded its journey with a semi-final loss to the Chenani Rhinos on March 1 in Mysuru.
After the match, Sudeep took to X to express his gratitude towards the supporters, stating, "Thanks to each one of u for all the support towards #KarnatakaBulldozers .. The team did it's best and yes, the better side deserved to win. Thanks to all the friends from Mysuru for the warm welcome and love."
There was a massive support in Mysuru for the Karnataka Bulldozers but the Kannada film inudstry's team failed to live up to the billing in the semis. Although Sudeep did well, it was the Chennai Rhinos who booked their place in the final.
He also conveyed his best wishes to the finalists of the tournament. With his cricket commitments for the season concluded, anticipation among his fans for his return to the silver screen is palpable.
The eagerness for Sudeep's cinematic comeback is centered around "Billa Ranga Baashaa" (BRB), his upcoming film and second collaboration with director Anup Bhandari. Sudeep had previously announced on social media that filming for BRB would commence in the second week of March, a statement that sparked a wave of anticipation among his followers.
Many responded to his posts about the CCL, urging him not to postpone the beginning of BRB any further. Fans expressed their desire to see him more in films than on the cricket field or television, emphasizing the importance of his cinematic contributions.
In response to the calls for his focus on films, Sudeep appears ready to meet his audience's expectations. Before the latest season of Bigg Boss Kannada began, he hinted at stepping down from his hosting duties—an announcement he made official during the season. This move has been interpreted as Sudeep's way of dedicating more time to his film projects, freeing himself from television commitments until potentially the next CCL season in 2026.
