CCL 2026 Final - As It Happened

Bengal Tigers captain Jisshu Sengupta won the Toss and elected to Bat first, which was not a wise decision on an evening encounter.

It showed with the Bengal innings as well. They lost both Uday and Jammy early in the innings. Although Joy and Jisshu Sengupta hold their fort, an unfortunate run out for Jisshu turned things around. Joy managed a brief respite with his half-century, but his departure crumbled Bengal, who were reduced to 99 for 8 from 94 for 3 - losing 5 wickets for just 5 runs. Indrasish and Ananda made some lusty blows at the end but the Tigers were bundled out for 129 runs.

In the run chase, the Bulldozers lost Nirup in the very first over. But Bengal's back was broken by Rajeev Hanu, who dazzled in the biggest occasion. The sturdy opener dismantled the Bengal bowlers and scored a scintillating half-century to take the game away.

He scored his fifty in just 23 deliveries, thus propelling the Bulldozers to 58/1 at the end of powerplay. Rajeev departed after a blistering 69 off 35 balls, taking the Bulldozers on course towards victory.

After Hanu's wicket, Karnataka had a wobble as Ratnadeep picked up three to give Bengal a glimmer of hope, but the Bulldozers got home as Karthik and Manjunath steered the ship.

Karthik remained unbeaten for 15, while Manjunath scored an unbeaten 20 as the Bulldozers won the match by 6 wickets to win their third CCL title.
