
The Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) makes a return after three years with season 9 as eight teams featuring cine and television stars from across India battling for the title.
The CCL 2023 will see eight teams playing four matches in round-robin format in the league stage with the top four moving on to the knockouts - the semifinals. All the matches will be played in T20 format, but in two innings of 10 overs each per side.
A total of 19 matches will be played across six venues with the matches being held as double-headers till the semifinals and the matches will only be played in the weekend from February 18 to March 25. The final will take place on March 26.
Some top names from Indian cinema industry like Suniel Shetty, Kiccha Sudeep, Ritesh Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Arya and Akhil Akkineni will be among the stars in action.
Mumbai Heroes, Karnataka Bulldozers, Chennai Rhinos, Telugu Warriors, Kerala Strikers, Bengal Tigers, Punjab de Sher, and Bhojpuri Dabanggs are the eight teams competing in CCL 2023.
The host cities for the CCL 2023 matches are Jaipur, Vizag, Jodhpur, Bengaluru, Raipur and Thiruvananthapuram.
Karnataka Bulldozers: Pradeep (captain), Rajeev H, Sudeep Kiccha, Suneel Rao, Jayram Karthik, Prathap, Prasanna, Shiva Rajkumar, Ganesh, Krishna, Sourav Lokesh, Chandan, Arjun Yogi, Nirup Bhandari, Nanda Kishore, and Sagar Gowda.
