A unique ODI score feat was achieved on Saturday (February 22) after England opener Ben Duckett smashed a record-breaking 165 against Australia in the Champions Trophy 2025 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
With his 165 off 143 balls, Duckett completed the list of individual scores from 0 to 183 in One Day International cricket. 165 was the only missing individual score in ODI history until Duckett ahcieved the score.

While 0 (a duck) has been often registered along with several other scores till 183, the score of 183 is particularly noteworthy in Indian cricket history, as three Indian legends - Sourav Ganguly, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, and Virat Kohli have each scored exactly that score in ODIs.
Ganguly reached the landmark in 1999 against Sri Lanka, while MS Dhoni got to the score in 2005 also against the same opposition. Kohli, on the other hand, got to this unique score in 2012 against Pakistan.
Past 183 till 200, the scores of 184, 187, 190, 191, 192, 195, 196, 197, 198 and 199 are yet to be achieved. Legendary Sachin Tendulkar, who was the first player to score an ODI double century, is the only player to score exactly 200 so far in ODIs, while several players have gone past 200.
Apart from filling in the blank in scores from 0 to 183, Duckett's 165 was also the highest by an individual in the Champions Trophy tournament. His historic innings, featuring 17 fours and 3 sixes, saw him surpass Andy Flower and Nathan Astle, who both had 145 runs to their names in the tournament.
Duckett's record-breaking knock, however, was overshadowed by Australia, who rode on Josh Inglis' unbeaten century to complete a record chase in ICC ODI events, chasing down 352 successfully.
