The Pakistanis have lost it. In every sense. The way their media, social media, and scribes continue to spew bile and froth at every opportunity against India has reached a climax.
Or, to borrow a tennis phrase - break point. On Monday, when the official broadcaster came out with a promo for the Champions Trophy 2025, there was more heartburn and more acidity.

Reason: There was no mention of Pakistan as the host or co-host or hybrid venue. It was a teaser from the TV broadcaster, more to keep fans engaged. No, the Pak handles on social media exploded into insanity. After all, just a day before that you were peddling on social media a photo of PCB chief Mohsin Naqvi with HMV (His Masters Voice) Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Naqvi is a slime and he lied to the media in Pakistan. Now, he has been tamed by the ICC. He is a stooge of the establishment, someone who has been bluffing all along to Pakistan. Now he stands exposed as each day's delay in announcing the Champions Trophy 20225 is causing them heartburn. As social media says, 'Burnol' moments.
The Pakistani YouTubers plus regular media who work for 'big' media houses in Urdu and alleged 'English' platforms are not to be left behind. The ICC is taking its time, and rightly so. ICC chairman Jay Shah has slipped into his chair in the office and is all smiles.
He is a soft-spoken personality and will not rush into anything on the Champions Trophy. He is not like Geoff Allardice who was twitching his thumbs and did nothing to sort out the Champions Trophy imbroglio. So, what does the Pakistani media do? In fact, they are trolls and heartless hacks, worse than their predecessors.
They are feasting on India losing the Adelaide Test. They are targeting Indian captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and even the Indian bowling. As if Pakistan are world beaters. The junior Pakistan side got kicked in the under-19 Asia Cup. They started frothing again and when India's juniors lost to Bangladesh, there was a celebration.
In the first place, Bangladesh is a curse on humanity, and for India to play them should be avoided for the way they have been targetting Hindus and temples in Bangladesh. So, when India lost to Bangladesh, they attacked a young boy, Vaibhav Suryavanashi, just 13.
Since the time Vaibhav landed a lucrative deal with Rajasthan Royals at the IPL 2025 auction, Pakistanis had a heart attack. After all, when their junior prodigies were rocking the world, everyone knew of an average problem. Shahid Afridi never aged, he grew younger with each passing year!
So, they think Vaibhav is a typical case of 'age fraud', not realising the BCCI has its own system in place to check age fraud and monitor how juniors are shaping up. Pakistan thinks only it has fit and strong cricketers like legend Shoaib Akhtar, who is still moderate in his comments.
The Champions Trophy imbroglio has made Pakistan go crazy. They have become so petty, that even the Indian women losing to Australia in the ODIs are headlined. Is it their problem or that of coach Amol Mazumdar and the BCCI?
For all that Indians care, even if the Pakistani women don't come to India in 2025 for the ODI World Cup, nobody is going to shed a tear. All this is new in Pakistan, there were mature captains like Imran Khan who baited India but never crossed the line. Someone like Wasim Akram is so full of poise when he speaks about Indian cricketers, notably Jasprit Bumrah.
No, the riff-raff like Rashid Latif and Junaid Khan, who think Vaibhav smashing a huge six in the Asia Cup (under-19) is impossible need to know Indians are strong. So much has changed in India, thanks to T20. The youngsters play fearless cricket. In any case, whether India lost a Test or in the Asia Cup juniors, it's not Pakistan's business.
At least, they are not going to the ICC with a begging bowl. It's Pak which goes to the ICC, asking for a dole!
