India battled out New Zealand in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy final on Sunday, 9th Match in Dubai and Rohit Sharma-led side emerged victorious by 4 wickets to claim a record 3rd title in the history of the competition.
Now the champion side will be getting a substantial prize of ₹20 crore, while the runner-up will receive ₹12 crore.

The two teams that lost in the semi-finals will each receive approximately ₹4.88 crore. The teams finishing in fifth and sixth place will earn around ₹3.05 crore each, while the seventh and eighth-placed teams will get approximately ₹1.22 crore each. Every participating team will receive a reward of around ₹1.09 crore. Additionally, teams will earn a bonus of approximately ₹29.6 lakh for each group-stage match they win.
The Men in Blue secured their third title by successfully chasing down a target of 252 against New Zealand. Skipper Rohit Sharma led from the front with a crucial 76 off 83 balls, setting the foundation for India's triumph. His aggressive approach ensured India had momentum early on, proving to be a match-winning contribution.
New Zealand's spinners turned the game in the middle overs, putting India under pressure. However, Shreyas Iyer steadied the innings with a composed 48 off 62 deliveries, while Axar Patel chipped in with a vital 29 off 40 balls. KL Rahul remained unbeaten on 34 off 33, ensuring India stayed on course. Hardik Pandya added a quick 18, and Ravindra Jadeja sealed the win with a boundary.
Earlier, New Zealand posted 251/7 after opting to bat first. Daryl Mitchell played a responsible knock, while Michael Bracewell's attacking 53 off 40 balls gave the Kiwis a late boost. Despite their efforts, the total fell short against India's strong batting depth.
