Champions Trophy 2025: India and Pakistan players exchange HEATED moment as Mohammad Rizwan shoulder bumps Harshit Rana | Watch video

By MyKhel Staff

The India vs Pakistan rivalry never fails to deliver high-octane moments, and the latest chapter in the Champions Trophy 2025 was no exception. During Pakistan's innings at the Dubai International Stadium, a heated exchange between Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan and India's young pacer Harshit Rana caught everyone's attention.

The incident occurred in the 21st over when Harshit Rana was in the middle of his second spell. Rizwan played a pull shot towards deep square leg and set off for a run. As both he and Rana crossed paths in the middle of the pitch, the Pakistan skipper appeared to shoulder-bump the Indian bowler.

Harshit looked visibly frustrated, raising his arms in disbelief at the unexpected contact. The moment quickly went viral, adding an extra layer of intensity to an already fierce battle.

The on-field drama, however, didn't overshadow Pakistan's batting performance. Opting to bat first after winning the toss, the Men in Green put up a fighting total of 241 before getting bundled out in the 50th over. Saud Shakeel played a crucial knock, top-scoring with 62 runs, while Rizwan contributed a steady 47 before being dismissed. Lower down the order, Khushdil Shah's quick-fire 38 proved vital in pushing Pakistan to a competitive total on a slow surface.

Earlier in the innings, Pakistan had a promising start with Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq stitching together a 43-run opening stand. However, Hardik Pandya provided India with the breakthrough by dismissing Babar, caught behind by KL Rahul. Imam's stay was short-lived as he fell victim to a run-out in the very next over, putting Pakistan on the back foot.

Despite the initial setbacks, Rizwan and Shakeel steadied the innings with a measured partnership. However, the Indian bowlers kept the pressure on, ensuring wickets fell at regular intervals. Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, and Mohammed Siraj were among the key wicket-takers, restricting Pakistan from posting an even bigger total.

As the Indian chase looms, all eyes will be on how Rohit Sharma and his team approach the 242-run target. With tensions already flaring between players, the second innings promises to be just as intense as the first. Stay tuned for more updates as the IND vs PAK Champions Trophy 2025 clash unfolds.
