Pakistan launched the team's jersey for the upcoming Champions Trophy 2025 on the eve of the ODI Tri-Series, which begins on Saturday (February 8) featuring New Zealand and South Africa.
On Friday (February 7), the 15-member squad of the defending champions Pakistan led by captain Mohammad Rizwan took the stage in Lahore to reveal their new threads in front of the fans during the grand opening ceremony of the Gaddafi Stadium following the venue's renovation and upgradation.

The new Pakistan kit sports the lighter shade of green for the tops, while the trousers are a darker shade or the more traditional darker green colour. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) also released a minute-long promo to unveil the jersey before the squad took the stage to unveil the kits.
The promotional video posted by PCB on their social media handles featured white-ball captain Mohammad Rizwan, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Shaheen Shah Afridi, alongside women's cricketers Sadia Iqbal and Fatima Sana. Here is the clip:

After the kit was unveiled, notable artists such as Ali Zafar, Aima Baig, and Arif Lohar performed live to mark the opening ceremony of the venue. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif inaugurated the newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium.
Pakistan will host New Zealand in the first match at the Lahore venue since it's renovation before the Kiwis meet South Africa in the final game before the Champions Trophy 2025, which gets under way on February 19.
The eight-team ICC tournament will feature 15 matches played across four venues in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Dubai. The eight teams will be divided into two groups of four and will play in single round-robin format to determine the semifinalists.
Team India, who will be playing all their matches in Dubai, have been drawn in Group A with arch-rivals Pakistan, New Zealand and Bangladesh, while Australia, South Africa, England and Afghanistan make up Group B.
Pakistan will take on New Zealand in the tournament opener on February 19 in Karachi, while India open their campaign against Bangladesh the very next day in Dubai before the high-voltage India vs Pakistan match on February 23.
