Scheduled from February 19 to March 9, the tournament will be co-hosted by Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This edition features eight top cricketing nations divided into two groups, with matches set to take place in Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Dubai.

Each team will play three group-stage matches, facing every other team in their group. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals. Notably, due to political tensions, India's matches are scheduled to be held in Dubai, including potential knockout stages, as they have opted not to play on Pakistani soil.
Pakistan: As hosts and defending champions, Pakistan aims to capitalize on home advantage. Led by captain Mohammad Rizwan, the team boasts a formidable pace attack and seeks significant contributions from star batsman Babar Azam.
India: Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, India enters the tournament as a strong contender. However, the team faces challenges due to the injury-induced absence of key pacer Jasprit Bumrah, leading to last-minute squad adjustments.
New Zealand: Captained by Mitchell Santner, the Black Caps are adapting to the retirement of veterans Tim Southee and Trent Boult. A revitalized Kane Williamson is expected to play a pivotal role in their campaign.
Bangladesh: Led by Najmul Hossain Shanto, Bangladesh faces a challenging group stage, especially with the absence of star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan. The team will rely on emerging talents to make an impact.
