In that race, Pakistan will be hoping that they have a better net run rate than the other 2 teams to seal their qualification.

The match between Pakistan and Bangladesh, which is set to take place in Rawalpindi on Thursday (February 27), is in doubt.

As per the latest weather updates from Accuweather, Rawalpindi is set to receive massive rainfall in the next five days, starting from Tuesday (February 25). On the day of the Pakistan-Bangladesh clash, there is a rain probability of 69 per cent, with the probability increasing to 96 per cent in the evening time.

There is a total prediction of three to four hours of thunderstorms and rain, which will put the match prospects in jeopardy. If the rain plays spoilsport, Pakistan will have to share the points with Bangladesh, meaning their elimination. In that case, Bangladesh will qualify for the semis if India beat New Zealand in their final group-stage match (provided Bangladesh beat New Zealand today).

Australia vs South Africa match in Doubt

Australia's match against South Africa on Tuesday (February 25) will be in Rawalpindi and the weather report is not encouraging either. There is a 67 per cent rain chance on the afternoon but the amount may not be severe, which may allow the completion of the match. Both teams won their first group stage match and them sharing the spoils would mean the loser of the match between England and Afghanistan will be eliminated.
