India's Champions Trophy 2025 campaign will be entirely played in Dubai, but the Indian captain may have to take a visit to the original hosts Pakistan.

After months of tug of war, BCCI and PCB agreed to a Hybrid Model of the Champions Trophy. Although Pakistan are the official hosts, India will play all of their matches, including the final if qualified, in the UAE-based city.

The ICC tournament, which sees India along with Pakistan, Bangladesh and New Zealand - is set to start from February 19. India will kickstart their campaign against Bangladesh on February 20.

Despite the team playing their matches in Dubai, India captain Rohit Sharma is likely to take a trip on the other side of the border. As per reports, Rohit Sharma may visit Pakistan ahead of the start of the Champions Trophy.

Rohit Sharma may take a trip to the other side of the border ahead of the Champions Trophy. The India captain, as per ICC regulations, may have to visit Pakistan for the pre-tournament photoshoot with the trophy and press conference. Pakistan, being the original hosts, will hold the conference and Rohit is likely to attend that. Although PCB is yet to determine the place and date of the press conference, it is likely to be held in Karachi or Lahore. Rohit, in case he goes to Pakistan, is tipped to directly join the team in Dubai from there.
