India are set to lock horns against Australia in the first semifinal of the Champions Trophy 2025 on Tuesday (March 4) at the Dubai International Stadium in Dubai.
The umpiring panel for the ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025 semi-final between India and Australia has been announced. ICC announced their panel of umpires for both semifinals on Monday.

India captain Rohit Sharma and his team will be aiming to secure their place into the Final with a revived performance against the Aussies. The two nations met in the World Cup 2023 in Ahmedabad and it will be an opportunity for the Indian team to redeem themselves for the previous heartbreak.
India won all of their group stage matches in the Champions Trophy 2025. They started with a victory against Bangladesh and then secured a huge win over arch-rivals Pakistan. In the final group stage match, India prevailed over New Zealand to finish as Group A winners. On the other hand, Australia won their first match against England but then had to endure rain gods as their next two matches got washed out.
New Zealand's Chris Gaffaney and England's Richard Illingworth will serve as the on-field umpires. Michael Gough will act as the third umpire, and Andy Pycroft has been appointed as the match referee.
On-Field Umpires: Chris Gaffaney, Richard Illingworh
Third Umpire: Michael Gough
