The Champions Trophy 2025 schedule has been announced and the cricketing world can finally breath a sigh of relief.
As the dust of the neighbours' quarrel has settled, Pakistan has agreed to a Hybrid Model, which will see India's matches being played in Dubai. All the matches barring India's will be played across the venues in Pakistan.
Pakistan will kickstart the tournament on February 19 as they face New Zealand. On the other hand, India will be playing Bangladesh in their group stage opener the day after.

Group A: India, Pakistan, New Zealand, Bangladesh
Group B: South Africa, Australia, England, Afghanistan
India will have to win at least two of the three group stage matches for qualifying in the knockout stages. If India advances to the knockouts, India's semifinal - which has been labelled as Semifinal 1, will be played in Dubai. If India advances to the Final, the championship encounter will also be played in Dubai.
If India qualify as the Group Winners, they will be facing the runners-up of the other group. In this scenario, Rohit Sharma and his troops can be playing against South Africa in the semifinal. Given Australia have been excellent in ODI format in the last few years, they are expected to top the group.
If Australia and Pakistan play in the other semifinal, India may have another finale encounter with Australia.
If India qualify as runners-up, they are likely to face Australia in the semifinal. If India advance to the final, they may face Pakistan in the final (given Pakistan will beat South Africa in the other semifinal).
After the group stage match, India can only play Pakistan in the Final, which will be a repeat of the Champions Trophy in 2016. In this case, the final will be played in Dubai despite Pakistan's qualification to the Final.
