Chandigarh Admn to honour, Yuvraj, Rajpal, Baljit and Jaswinder

Chandigarh, Sep 28 (UNI) The Chandigarh administration will honour Yuvraj Singh, hockey stars Rajpal Singh, Baljit Singh and Jaswinder Singh with Administrator's Gold Medal.

Punjab Governor and Union Territory Administrator, General (Retd.) S F Rodrigues will felicitate them at a function to be held shortly.

Yuvraj Singh was a member of Indian cricket team, which recently won Twenty20 Cricket World Cup and Rajpal Singh, Baljit Singh and Jaswinder Singh were members of the Indian hockey team which won the Asia Cup held in Chennai recently.

These players either belong to Chandigarh or have been associated with the Union Territory. The honour carries a cash award of Rs one lakh each.
