New Delhi, July 29: Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have officially parted ways with their head coach Chandrakant Pandit after a three-year stint marked by both highs and lows.

The development comes after the defending champions failed to make a mark in IPL 2025. The team management, as well as the coaching staff, came under heavy fire after the team's forgettable run.

Pandit, a respected former India wicketkeeper-batter and domestic coaching stalwart, was appointed in August 2022 following Brendon McCullum’s departure to take over the reins of England's Test team.
