Chennai Super Kings IPL 2024 Auction: Chennai Super Kings are heading into the IPL 2024 auction after a successful campaign in IPL 2023, where they clinched their 5th title.
MS Dhoni led them towards another piece of glory as CSK beat Gujarat Titans in a thrilling final in Ahmedabad. With IPL 2024 poised to be Dhoni's swansong, it is to be seen how CSK bolster their already settled squad in the auction.

Chennai Super Kings bought six players during the auction held in Dubai. The five-time IPL champions also purchased three overseas players, including Daryll Mitchell for a staggering Rs 14 crore.
They retained 19 players ahead of the auction. Along with some renowned faces, the CSK franchise decided to keep the majority of their youngsters as well. Simarjeet Singh, Shaik Rasheed, Tushar Deshpande, Rajvardhan Hangargekar all will be part of the CSK squad in 2024.

CSK started their buying with Rachin Ravindra for Rs. 1.8 crore, and then snapped up Shardul Thakur for 4 crore. They went forward to break the bank for another Kiwi Daryl Mitchell, who went for 14 crore and will be playing for the Yellow Army.
CSK would also be ecstatic with the signing of Sameer Rizvi. The 20-year-old Uttar Pradesh player was roped in for a massive INR 8.4 crore. They even bought Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman and uncapped Indian wicketkeeper Avinash Rao Aravelly.
