By Abdul Nisar

Priety Zinta, through a tweet has denied media reports that she was asked to appear before Chandigarh court for her hearing as no notification was given to her by the court for her case.

Media reports stated that the arrest warrants were issued by Chief Judicial Magistrate J S Sidhu as the owners had reportedly failed to appear before it in a case against them.

"No summons had been served on me by the CJM Chandigarh with regards to appearing in any court case against me today," Preity Zinta tweeted on Twitter.

The Co-owners of Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kings XI Punjab - actress Priety Zinta, industrialist Ness Wadia and businessman Mohit Burman were reportedly issued bailable arrest warrants by a local court earlier on Saturday according to PTI report.

The case against the Kings XI Punjab owners was reportedly filed by the Registrar of Companies (ROC) office in April, accusing them of not submitting their balance sheet and returns.

Media reports also stated that the court had fixed Oct 4 as the next date of hearing in this matter.
