CPL 2024: TKR batter Shaqkere Parris hits 124m Six - Which is the biggest Six in T20 Cricket?

In a thrilling Caribbean Premier League (CPL) encounter between Trinbago Knight Riders and Guyana Amazon Warriors, Trinbago's Shaqkere Parris stole the show with a gigantic six.

Trinbago won the crucial match by 5 wickets and Shaqkere Parris played a key part in it.

Shaqkere Parris hits 124m Six

The Trinbago opener Shaqkere Parris hit a massive 124m six, a highlight that will be remembered for years to come. He scored 29 runs off 29 balls, but that massive six was the highlight of the night.

Shaqkere Parris 124-metre Six in CPL

Parris took apart left-arm spinner Gudakesh Motie in the 3rd over of the chase. He kneeled down to whack it over long-on, which disturbed the roof of the stadium and travelled a humongous 124 metres.

This victory at their home ground, following a successful stint away, was particularly special for TKR. It not only marked their second significant comeback win of the season but also showcased their depth and talent, serving as a testament to their championship pedigree.

Despite a rocky start that saw them reeling at 89-5, TKR's fortunes were dramatically turned around by Andre Russell and Tim David. Russell's powerful hitting, coupled with David's consecutive sixes in the closing over, clinched a victory that seemed improbable midway through their innings. The win has taken TKR second in the CPL 2024 points table.

Shaqkere Parris' 124-metre six is the biggest in the history of CPL. The 21-year-old is a top talent and has also represented West Indies u-19.

Biggest Six in T20 Cricket

Along with the biggest six in CPL's history, Parris' giant six has also made it among the top 10 list in the biggest sixes in cricket history across all formats. But New Zealand batter Martin Guptill's 127-metre strike against South Africa is the biggest in T20 format. In the IPL, former Chennai Super Kings star Albie Morkel also hit a maximum which travelled 124 metres.
