Chennai, Dec 18: As they say, Everything is fair in Love and War, Dipika Pallikal too slammed a media report when it criticised her husband Dinesh Karthik, the young cricketer of Team India.

Pallikal, a top squash player of the country, got irked with a media report which had carried a report with the title -- 7 Reasons Why Attractive Women Often Date Unattractive Men.

The post, however, was deleted later. Tennis star Sania Mirza and her husband Shoaib Malik, the Pakistani cricketer, too were featured in the same article.

Dipika, who recently got married to Dinesh Karthik, turned to micro-blogging site Twitter and tweeted, "...Try publishing things which make sense. Oh and Just btw my husband is HOT."

Dipika's reaction came after reading the content (with a photograph of Dipika and Dinesh Karthik) which read, "Most average Joes, while dating an extremely pretty girl, do realise the fact that they have gotten more than their due. This naturally makes them turn into a more caring and concerned partner when compared to a good-looking guy. And concern and care is what a woman actually wants!'

The post, however, was deleted with an apology, "We've taken down this story because we found it to be extremely insensitive and not becoming of the brand MensXP that you've grown to love over the years."
