
Bengaluru, August 25: Generally, cricketers are not known to be too religious. Amidst constant travel and tight match schedule, they often keep their faith under tight wraps.
But that did not prevent some of them to come out and wish people on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.
Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar led the list posting a video wishing people on the occassion of Ganesh Chathurthi on his official Twitter handle, and he was clad in an ethnic dress to match the occasion. His wife Anjali too was seen in the picture offering prayers.
Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan, who is away in Sri Lanka with the Indian team, too wished his compatriots on the day.
Suresh Raina, the left-handed middle-order batsman, too wished people an auspicious Ganesh Chathurthi. He is in Uttar Pradesh preparing for the upcoming Ranji season with his teammates.
