Crowd chants "Modi, Modi" as Rahul Gandhi enters Wankhede Stadium

Mumbai, Nov 15: The crowd at the Wankhede Stadium here began to chant "Modi, Modi" when Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi entered the ground on Friday to witness the appearance of ace cricketer Sachin Tendulkar in his 200th test match and final international appearance.

Friday was the second day of the second test match between India and West Indies and the batting maestro scored 74 in what is believed to be his last innings. The Caribbeans were trailing the hosts by 270 runs at the end of the day's play and had already lost three vital wickets.

Narendra Modi is the BJP's prime ministerial candidate for the next Lok Sabha polls due early next year and the political circles and the media have projected the elections to be a battle between Modi and Gandhi.
