CSK IPL 2026 Schedule: After a disappointing 2025 campaign, the five-time champions Chennai Super Kings will be eager to bounce back in the 2026 season of the Indian Premier League. The franchise endured its toughest year in IPL history last season, finishing at the bottom of the table with only four wins. Determined to turn things around, CSK have made several key changes to their squad during the auction and will look to start afresh as the 10-team tournament begins just 20 days after the final of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup on March 8.
Under the captaincy of Ruturaj Gaikwad, Chennai Super Kings are set to play 14 league-stage matches across both home and away venues in the upcoming season. The BCCI has currently announced the fixtures for the opening phase of the tournament, while the schedule for the remaining matches will be finalised later, keeping in mind the upcoming elections in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, and Assam.

The season will begin on March 28 with defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru facing Sunrisers Hyderabad at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Meanwhile, CSK will start their campaign on the road with a clash against the Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati.

One of the biggest headlines ahead of the new season was CSK's blockbuster trade for Sanju Samson from the Rajasthan Royals. In exchange, the franchise sent star all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran the other way in what became one of the most notable trades in IPL history.
During the IPL 2026 mini-auction, CSK also made headlines by splashing ₹ 14.5 crore each on two uncapped talents, Kartik Sharma and Prashant Veer, setting a new record for the highest bids ever placed on uncapped players in the tournament's auction history.
