Shivam Dube Launches CSK's 50th Super Kings Academy Centre in Chennai

India and Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Shivam Dube marked a significant milestone for the Super Kings Academy as he launched its 50th centre at Vaishnav Sports Academy in Arumbakkam, Chennai, on September 4.

The launch represents another step in the academy's efforts to expand access to structured cricket coaching and modern sporting facilities for young players.

Super Kings Academy, an initiative of Chennai Super Kings, was launched in April 2022 and has since grown to more than 50 centres across India, the USA, Australia, Canada and Singapore. New centres in Dubai and Qatar are also set to open shortly.

Dube was joined at the launch by Anand Balakrishnan, Head - Sports Development at Vaishnav Sports Academy, MOP Vaishnav College for Women Principal Dr Archana Prasad, Chennai Super Kings Logistics Manager Sanjay Natarajan, Super Kings Academy Zonal Head Coach Palani Amarnath and SKA Vaishnav Sports Academy Head Coach Sai Rupesh.

Speaking at the event, Dube congratulated the academy on reaching the milestone and expressed hope that its facilities would help produce the next generation of cricketers.

"I have always loved coming to Chennai, and I congratulate the Super Kings Academy for completing 50 centers across the globe. I hope and wish that with these wonderful facilities many of you guys go on to become players like MS Dhoni, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sanju Samson and some of you become like myself as well. All the best once again," Dube said.

The academy provides cricket coaching for boys and girls aged between six and 23, with state-of-the-art infrastructure and expert coaching. The Vaishnav Sports Academy centre will now add to that growing network, offering young cricketers another pathway to develop their skills.
