CSK signing for IPL 2026 concedes 123 runs in 10 overs, creates World Record for Wrong Reasons!

By MyKhel Staff

Puducherry captain Aman Khan conceded 123 runs in 10 overs against Jharkhand in a Vijay Hazare Trophy Elite match on December 29, 2025.

This performance marks the most expensive bowling spell in List A cricket history. Jharkhand secured a commanding win in the encounter.

CSK signing for IPL 2026 concedes 123 runs in 10 overs creates World Record for Wrong Reasons

Aman Khan was taken to the cleaners by the Jharkhand batters, who posted a massive total of 368 against them. Kumar Kushagra scored a century, while Kolkata Knight Riders player Anukul Roy remained unbeaten on 98 off just 53 deliveries.

Aman picked up one wicket, but conceded 123 runs, the most by a bowler in a List A match. He surpassed Arunachal's Mibom Mosu, who conceded 116 runs in 9 overs last week against Bihar in a Vijay Hazare Plate encounter.

Chennai Super Kings acquired Aman Khan for ₹40 lakh at his base price during the IPL 2026 auction in Abu Dhabi, adding depth to their all-rounder options. Despite a recent poor bowling outing conceding 123 runs in 10 overs for Puducherry against Jharkhand in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, CSK sees potential in his middle-order batting and medium-pace bowling.

Born on November 23, 1996, in Mumbai, Aman Khan is a right-handed batter and right-arm medium pacer who debuted in List A cricket for Mumbai in 2021. In 12 IPL matches, he scored 115 runs, highlighted by a composed 51 against Gujarat Titans. He has previously played for Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals in IPL.
