In a rematch from last season’s final, defending champions Chennai Super Kings will host 2023 runners up Gujarat Titans in match 7 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 at the MA Chidamabaram Stadium in Chennai on Tuesday (March 26).
Ruturaj Gaikwad opened his captaincy stint at CSK with a 6-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru, while Shubman Gill also won on his captaincy debut following a 6-run victory over Mumbai Indians in their campaign opener.

In the tournament curtain-raiser at Chepauk, Mustrafizur Rahman’s 4 for 29 figures restricted RCB to 173 before an all-round batting effort saw CSK home with 8 balls to spare on Friday (March 22).
GT, on the other hand, rode on Sai Sudharsan’s fifty to post 168 before a combined bowling effort ruined their former captain Hardik Pandya’s return to the Narendra Modi Stadium.
