Kolkata Knight Riders was subject to fan ridicule after a hilarious Twitter post on Sunday (May 14), ahead of their crucial IPL 2023 tie against Chennai Super Kings.
KKR are on the brink of elimination. The Knights are sitting 8th in the IPL table and only a miracle can take them to the playoffs.

They are facing Chennai Super Kings at the Chepauk Stadium on Sunday and a defeat will make their exit official.
Ahead of the match, the KKR official Twitter handle posted a pre-match card consisting of their players. 'Ready, Steady, Go!' the post wrote with their players' images wearing Mundu (traditional wear of Tamil Nadu).
It also had a tinge of KKR owner Shah Rukh Khan's film Chennai Express, with a train compartment also incorporated in the image. And after their brandish post, the KKR got battered by their frustrated fans.
"Don't expect anything from this team as long as players like Rana are playing for us. It's just a PR team to generate money nothing else. Forget about reaching the playoffs for the next 3 or 4 years until Venky Mysore gets sacked," a fan wrote in reply.
'Another defeat is loading today and KKR will be officially out of the playoffs,' another fan Mrityunjoy wrote. It will clearly be all over for the two-time IPL champions if they lose at the Chepauk.
KKR lost the reverse fixture at the Eden Gardens earlier this season. And a fan warned them not to repeat that performance again.
