CSK vs KKR IPL 2024: Ruturaj Gaikwad's Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will take on Shreyas Iyer's Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in Match 22 of the IPL 2024 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk) in Chennai on Monday, April 8.
Chennai are currently placed third in the IPL 2024 points table after winning and losing two matches each. They won both their home games before facing defeats in Vizag against Delhi Capitals (DC) and in Hyderabad against (Sunrisers Hyderabad).

Kolkata are only the second unbeaten team in IPL 2024 after table-toppers Rajasthan Royals (RR). Second-placed KKR have won each of their last three matches. They defeated Delhi Capitals by 106 runs in their last match.
"It's a different pitch tonight. Looks a really good wicket, there was bounce and carry in the first game. There's a lot of grass on the surface, unusual for a Chepauk pitch. There are a few patches where there's an uneven covering of grass. The spinners will come into play in the middle overs. It's a bat-first wicket," Matthew Hayden said ahead of the last match here between CSK and GT.
Gujarat opted to bat first and ended up giving away 206 runs. In reply, they were restricted at 143/8. Out of the six CSK wickets which fell, spinners picked three and pacers two. Ravindra Jadeja got run out. Seven out of the eight Gujarat Titans wickets were taken by Chennai Super Kings pacers.
No chances of rain in Mumbai on Monday, April 8. With a humidity level of 84 percent, the temperature in Chennai will hover around 3- degree celsius. The wind speed at the MA Chidambaram Stadium will be close to 13 km/h.
