KKR had also lost the reverse fixture earlier this season against CSK at Eden Gardens, where MS Dhoni's side scored the highest total at the venue - 235/4 thanks to Ajinkya Rahane's unbeaten 29-ball 71 that was crucial in the 49-run victory.
